About Mumeninaz Zaman

Mumeninaz Zaman is a freelancer and she contributes articles in the webzine, The Thumbprint Magazine and the English daily, The Assam Tribune. The art of storytelling is what attracted her to the profession of journalism. Having completed her Diploma in Mass Communication & Journalism, at present she is also pursuing her Master’s in the same discipline from the Institute of Distance and Open Learning, Gauhati University. She is also undergoing a training on Digital Marketing. She is a member of an NGO named “Stars of the Northeast” that works for the welfare of society. Apart from that, she is also an active member of a group called “Learning and Promoting Public Relations” (LeaP-PR), an organization devoted to the practice and promotion of good Public Relations When she is not glued to a computer screen, she tries her hand on doodling and writing creatively as a hobby.
